Of course, the goal is to force the body to draw on its own reserves. But we certainly don\u2019t want to end up with hypoglycemic episodes either.  <\/p>\n<p>Although it is fairly high in fiber, certain vitamins, and trace minerals, the cabbage soup diet can still lead to <b>significant nutritional deficiencies<\/b>. What\u2019s more, it\u2019s <b>extremely low in calories<\/b>: with fewer than 600 kcal per day, you won\u2019t be able to keep it up for long\u2014neither at work nor in your daily activities.
